Good for the Soil, Good for Business

DFI is joining Oregon Agricultural Trust, Marion Soil & Water Conservation District, and other regional partners for this hands-on workshop connecting soil health with agricultural business resilience.

The day includes presentations, a soil lab with a take-home test kit, and organizational updates from conservation and farming organizations across the region — including a brief update from DFI on our work supporting water-resilient farming practices.

Topics range from soil science and economic benefits of conservation to sustainability certifications and marketing.

This partner-hosted event is organized by Oregon Agricultural Trust, Chemeketa Community College, and Marion Soil & Water Conservation District.
