Dark Star

Dark green glossy productive zuke with vigorous roots and exceptional drought tolerance; resistance to powdery mildew; selected under dry farmed conditions in Northern CA. Dark Star was included in variety trials with the Dry Farming Collaborative 2016 – 2018, with an average yield of 15 lbs per plant at a planting density of 24 sq ft per plant, on 9 sites in Western Oregon.
