After the termination of federal funding in May 2025, DFI entered a season of adaptation and reimagination — navigating change with the same curiosity and flexibility we bring to water-resilience. In this newsletter, we shared updates from our farm sites, including a cucumber melon breeding project with the Mazourek Lab at Cornell University and the Culinary Breeding Network, and a second year of the Perennial Atlas Project with The Land Institute.
